A large investment bank in London needed to implement a new global financial crime framework and they had no current staff member able to take this on.
The client approached us for help, and after some initial discussion which gave us a clear idea of their requirements, we advised that a 9 month contract solution might be the way forward. They agreed with our suggestion and we embarked on our search. It was imperative to find the right candidate in a short space of time as the best contractors are always snapped up quickly. The client interviewed 2 of the candidates and was particularly impressed with one, who was shortly due to complete another contract. He was offered the role and started shortly thereafter. This contract assignment proved to be extremely beneficial for both client and contractor and was extended beyond its initial term.
