Managing Director
Your primary responsibility will be to lead on 2nd Line of Defence Operational Risk & Controls Assurance for Europe and to support local senior management to ensure embedding of the group operational risk framework. The role will provide appropriate operational risk advice and challenge to business unit 1LoDs as well as coordination of assurance engagements.

assist business leadership to drive a strong risk culture in which awareness of the banks' op. risk and controls assurance framework is embedded in day-to-day business decisions

assist and support the business to effectively implement and embed operational risk management policies and processes

develop, coordinate and monitor progress of an assurance plan which focuses on high risk areas

protect the business by carrying out reviews of effective operational risk practices, seeking continuous improvement
Your background:
- worked in a wholesale banking environment and high level of understanding of an operational risk environment and requirements
- preferably candidate has min. 7 years risk experience, obtained within a regulator, accounting firm, or financial services firm
