Senior Recruitment Consultant
Our client is a Big 4 consulting firm who are looking for Risk Management & Regulatory Change Consultants (junior to senior levels) to advise clients on the management of non-financial risk with a focus on wholesale banking business.
You will work with Front Office, COO, Compliance, Operations and Risk functions often cross-functionally in supporting them to respond to the industry's most current challenges, such as Brexit, LIBOR reform and capital markets conduct. You'll bring experience of front-to-back business process in capital markets firms and a knowledge of exchange and OTC products.
You could be involved in:
-
advice & implementation responding to conduct regulation, e.g. MiFID II, algorithmic trading governance and control, transaction reporting and reference rate reform.
-
governance, risk & control, e.g front office supervision, model risk management and control framework optimisation.
-
supporting clients with business change, e.g. Brexit planning analyst support; LiBOR reform; process optimisation and automation.
Responsibilities:
As a senior associate this role will provide you with experience of working with major banking and capital market clients, where you can demonstrate your understanding of regulatory requirements, governance and controls and approaches to project and programme delivery. This will include:

contributing to the development of business proposals

working with a team to deliver business and regulatory change programmes

building day-to-day relationships across a network of stakeholders internally and externally
Role requirements:
-
3 years experience for senior associate level working within professional services/consulting organisations or banks/regulators focussed on regulatory/business change or front-to-back capital markets governance, risk & controls

an ability to work under pressure within an ambiguous environment
-
strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
-
good commercial awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative

the ability to apply independent judgement during engagements and to support conclusions reached to senior level personnel both internally and with our clients
-
strong PowerPoint skills and good Excel skills; broader experience of technology desirable e.g. data analytics, deployment of RPSs, specifying change requirements through BRD / Technical Specifications.
