Summary of Best Placement
I had two placements join their respective firms around 7 years ago, at VP/Senior Manager grade, in hard to fill specialist roles. Today, both have been promoted to MD level and hold key roles.
I also found a great role for the Head of Financial Crime at a mid-cap Investment Bank. Three years later, he needed a junior Financial Crime Officer and I found him a fantastic candidate, who is earmarked as one for the future.

Candidate Top Tip
Be ambitious, not un-realistic. Be sure to bring something unique to any role you apply for. It can be frustrating for recruiters and hiring managers to see candidates applying for roles which they have little or no experience for.
Interests Outside of Work
I enjoy playing football, squash and a little golf. I am a bit of a petrol head and my wife and I are members of the Sporting Bears Motor Club, who have raised over two million for children’s charities. I also enjoy cooking, which my wife loves. I have dabbled in some amateur baking and a number of our clients received ‘Jakes Cakes’ one Christmas.
